Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Phoenix USA Steel Underbody Tool Box for your truck or trailer. Now, if you are looking for a strong, secure, and weather-resistant underbody toolbox for your truck or trailer, this might be a great box for you to consider. This box can be used on flatbeds, trailers, utility trucks, and other heavy duty vehicles. And since this is an underbody toolbox, this is not going to take up bed space in your truck or trailer.

It's gonna keep storage accessible but out of your way. Now, this box is typically designed for contractors, truckers, landscapers, and trailer owners who need secure out of the way storage. This is gonna be ideal for carrying things like tie downs, tools, toolboxes, chains, just about anything that you can throw into this box. This is gonna be a great item to securely store all those things that you're looking for, easy storage and secure storage for. Before we move along any further, let me give you some measurements.

So, looking at the overall length, we are sitting right at 48 inches long. And then bringing this over here, giving you the width or the depth, measuring from the back to the front of that door. We're sitting pretty close to 18 inches if you can see over my head. And the height from bottom to top, 18 inches. So, hopefully that gives you a good idea of the size of this box and if it's gonna work for you.

I do wanna point out that installation brackets and hardware are not included with this. Since this is going to be really dependent upon how you want to install this, you would just need to pick up the brackets and the hardware that's gonna work best for your particular application. So, this is built to last with heavy duty 13 gauge steel construction. And as you can see, it does have a gloss black powder coat finish that's going to make this corrosion-resistant. Said it was heavy duty, this weighs just a little over 100 pounds.

I needed help to get it up here on my tabletop. And this has nine cubic feet of spacious storage for all your gear. So, I'm gonna go ahead and pop this open here with this T handle and give it a turn. And I know because of that black powder coat, it's gonna be dark in there and kinda hard to see. Let me see if I can give you a lowered angle view there. I do have a toolbox in there already just to kind of give you an idea of the space that you're gonna have to work with inside of that, inside of this toolbox. But as you can see, completely open here for the most part. So, you're gonna be able to throw your stuff in there. You're gonna be able to easily see what you have in there. And then, when you're ready to take it out, you're not gonna have like a center post or anything to deal with. If you notice along the sides here, we have these cables that are going to keep the door from opening up all the way down. So, you're gonna have some support for this door. And this door by the way is robust. It's got a really good weight to it. The cables look like they could be unhooked if you wanted to. They're connected by S hooks here. And then, around the perimeter we have an automotive grade seal. So, that's gonna keep your gear, your tools, your cargo. That's gonna keep it all safe from the weather, from the elements, so you're not gonna have to worry about road spray or anything like that easily getting in because of that seal. So again, nine cubic feet of storage, and I'm just gonna go ahead and close this up. And then as you can see, we do have this stainless steel T handle right there. So, that's gonna make it very easy to get inside and then lock it up. You do get two keys so you'll be able to lock up that T handle. And so, when that's locked, you're not gonna be able to turn that. So, your gear is gonna be safe. You are going to get two keys, and then it's gonna be very easy to lock and unlock this as you can see. So again, stainless steel, you're not gonna have to worry about that rusting or corroding or anything like that.
